Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Palmer actually grew up with a father and a grandfather who were both doctors, which means he saw firsthand just how happy their patients were after receiving dedicated treatment. Gradually, he realized he wanted to do the same for his own career. He’s also always enjoyed going to the dentist for routine appointments, so the field just seemed like a perfect fit. All these years later, he still couldn’t be happier with his chosen profession!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After attending Saint Edwards University for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Palmer pursued his dental doctorate at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He always knew that he would then return to his home in Texas to practice dentistry and treat patients from his local community. Today, he has advanced training in laser dentistry and CEREC same-day technology.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Palmer and his wife Katie have a young daughter named Shae at home, as well as two cats named Milo and Birdie. Outside of dentistry, music and golf are his two biggest passions. One of his favorite hobbies is going to see live shows and watching bands perform; he also plays several instruments, loves to sing, and even writes his own music. As for golf, he played on his high school’s team and still strives to make time for the sport whenever he can.
